Behind The Artworks: Scarlet Tantrum - Insignificant (Single) (2025)
The artwork for Insignificant is a black and white image of me standing alone in an open field, shielding my face from the sun. Visually, it captures the moment of trying to exist in something that feels too overwhelming to face head-on. The field represents isolation and emotional exposure—there’s nowhere to hide—while blocking the light reflects the internal conflict of wanting clarity or hope, but not feeling ready to receive it.
Black and white was intentional. It strips away distractions and mirrors the emotional numbness and heaviness explored in the song. Insignificant is about feeling small, unseen, and emotionally worn down, and the image captures that quiet, heavy sadness without needing to be dramatic. It’s a still moment that reflects the song’s core feeling: being present, but struggling to feel significant in your own life.
