Behind The Artworks: Stain The Canvas - Honey Rot (2025)
The artwork brings back a defining motif we’ve used before: the mirror. It appeared in God Made Hell as well as All Fine/eniF llA. You’ll find it in Honey Rot too, but this time it’s shattered. Those fragments mirror the bond between some members of the band, a connection that, over time, unfortunately broke apart. The honey coating the shards carries the same symbolism from a different angle. The band’s bond once felt unbreakable, unable to decay, just like honey, one of the few natural substances that never spoils. That’s why the album’s title is, by design, an oxymoron.
