Interviews: Blood Desecration

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Blackened Death Metal band, Blood Desecration, from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name?

We knew we wanted the word blood in it somehow. Was it planned, or did it just happen organically? After many tries and checks to see if the names were taken, Blood Desecration was born.

2. Why did you choose to play this genre?

It's pretty much what we all grew up with. Mix of old and new.

3. Did you know each other before forming the band?

The drummer and vocalist did, and the bass player and guitar player did.

4. What is each band member's favorite band?

Slayer, Hypocrisy, Lamb Of God, Acid Bath, bands from those types of genres

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Hate and anger. Some from true experiences or true-life issues.

6. Where was your last gig?

We played with ex-members of Megadeth at Photocity in Rochester, NY.

7. Where would you like to perform in the future?

Backend Open-air or Download festival

8. Which artist or band would you like to collaborate with?

We have way too many to name lol.

9. Is there anyone you wouldn’t want to collaborate with?

Not off the top of our heads, can we really name one?

10. Have any of you ever experienced stage fright?

I don't think any of us have. We enjoy being on the stage too much.

11. Do you have any tips for beginners on overcoming it?

To remember that YOU'RE on the stage and they're not. They wouldn't be there if they didn't like your music. Make them enjoy the show, and move as much as you can. Usually, after the first song, all is good.

12. Which bands have influenced you the most?

Old school metal, new school metal. Best way to say it. Because agai,n there are just too many to name.      

13. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I don't think any of us has ever been asked for something weird. Now I want it to happen.

14. What do you think of your fans?

We love our fans for all the support they've been giving us. It's hard to get that good of a support.

15. What do you think of our site?

We like the site.

15. Is there anything else you’d like to add?
