Interviews: Nadie

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Punk Rock band Nadie from Colombia. Check out the interview!

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name? Did you plan it or came out like that?

It came out just like that, was a suggestion from a member’s band, and we said yes, that's the name.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because it fills us with energy, and we can speak out about the things that we disagree on in our reality

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, we first met in a school and in a few days, we were playing and making some noise in our homes.

4. Each band member's favourite band?

Juan Bateria (Queen Of The Store Edge) Boris Bajo (Nofx) Julián Guitarra y Voz (Motorhead)

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

All lyrics are written for Julián, and he writes about his life, his inner self feelings, social world situation and life.

6. Where was your last gig?

Locofest Santo Domingo Antioquia

7. Where would you like to act?

Europe and Brazil

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Otis Taylor

Juanes

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes, surely each one of us was frightened in a different time or show, but we advise the beginners to trust in you more than you can, drink a shot of whisky and connect with your instrument, doing a real warm up 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Slayer, Motorhead, Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks, Clutch, The Clash, Judas Priest, La Polla Records

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A girl asks Julián why he is so thin. Until today, Julián has been thinking about the answer to this question

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the best gift that we have ever had; some of them are almost family today
