Track By Tracks: Set For Tomorrow - ARCS (2025)

1. Over:

‘Over’ became the EP’s unofficial breakup anthem. It’s the most personal I’ve ever gotten - written from a place of complacency in a troubled relationship, mixed with the resentment that inevitably grows.

2. CTRL:

This track pulls from relationships I saw growing up. It explores searching for security in the wrong places—a theme for anyone who lets their love life completely take over and keeps running back to the person who hurt them.

3. Doom + Gloom:

As a band, we believe in hard work and chasing opportunity. ‘Doom + Gloom’ is driven by that mindset: refusing to let your environment define your success.

4. Bad Advice:

One of our favorites off of ARCS—high energy and sharp. It’s about the so-called friends who always preach but never have your best interests at heart, and what happens when you listen to everyone except yourself.

5. Impulse:

‘Impulse’ is one of the ARCS tracks written from an outside perspective. It looks at how easily people confuse lust with love while using escapism and impulsivity to avoid deeper issues.

6. Someone Lonely:

'Someone Lonely' was written about when you live in what you think is a healthy space, it could be a relationship or lifestyle you've grown accustomed to, and then suddenly everything is torn out from under you. When you wake up, realize everything's different, and you learn to accept it.

7. Counterfeit:

‘Counterfeit’ was a blast to make and gave me the chance to use my first language - Spanish. The song centers on living in an empty house filled with memories. The line ‘dead end dream I’m trapped is intentionally referenced later on ‘Someone Lonely,’ where it returns as ‘the dream is done.’

8. Do You:

‘Do You’ is the softer moment on ARCS. Since many of us run our own businesses, we know how easy it is to get lost in the grind. This song is a reminder not to neglect the people who matter. I wanted it to close the EP because it ends with the line, ‘One day I’ll be somebody.’
