Behind The Tracks: Misty Route - Blind God (Single) (2026)
Five years after their first album, Misty Route is making a strong comeback by releasing across all platforms on January 16, 2026, the first single from their upcoming full-length album titled "Ethos".
This new single track by the Greek alternative metal power trio is named "Blind God" and has a duration of approximately 6 minutes. The concept of the song revolves around the existence of God, through the eyes of a child who tries to understand the world and explain the pain that is everywhere around us every day. What are the true intentions and what are the real powers of God? If God is that powerful, why doesn't he make this world a little fairer? Could God be a human invention that serves specific purposes, such as people's need for comfort and hope in difficult times or the intentions of the powerful to manipulate the masses? Is God ultimately man himself?
Lyrics:
Ain't got
I ain't got
I ain't got
God to pray
Some are born disabled
but he chose to look away
Ah
Do you believe in God?
Ah
Even when he's blind?
Ah
Do you believe in God?
No
Ain't got
I ain't got
I ain't got
God to pray
Soldiers bombing children
but he chose to hide away
Ain't got
I ain't got
I ain't got
God to pray
Priests are raping young girls
but he chose to walk away
Ah
Do you believe in God?
Ah
Even when he's blind?
Ah
Do you believe in God?
No
