Behind The Artworks: Cultist - Spiritual Atrophy (2026)

The original photography by our guitarist, Betzi Poitras shows a trio of personal sigils. The light of the flame reflects off of them and fades into the rough surface upon which they lie. Spiritual Atrophy is an account of our experiences and adventures with occultism, which is represented in the sigils themselves. Vanessa's is furthest to the left, a jagged symbol that has yet to show its full form. Betzi's is in the middle. It combines a series of easy symbols with some personal flair, showing a level of stability and personal efficacy. Jim's is on the right, a broken piece that represents abandoning these practices and trying to return to the life before.
