Behind The Artworks: Frozen Factory - Apoca-Lip-Sync (2026)

Except for that of or debut album Planted Feet, I’ve made all our album artworks. I use elements of photographs and images and compile and modify them in Photoshop, then I add all kinds of details and atmosphere – mostly through playing with textures and colours. For Apocalypse Inc., I sketched out the idea of a child sitting on a dead tree with the APO INC factory in the background and a bunch of gas cylinders by her feet. From the sketch, I worked to find all the elements and compile them. It takes time, but I enjoy the process. If you look closely, you can see the old boat from the Of Pearls & Perils cover wrecked among the rocks in the distance. My aim was to depict a near-dead world where the APO INC corporation sells the only clean oxygen available – and there’s still no effort clean things up.
