Behind The Artworks: Sins Of Shadows - The Last Frontier (2026)
For this album, we wanted to create a more classic artwork compared to the more extravagant style of our previous releases. The visuals directly reflect the title, The Last Frontier, and are inspired by Howard Fast’s novel of the same name.
The book tells the story of the Cheyenne people, who, after being deported to Oklahoma, chose to rebel and journey back to their ancestral lands. Some eventually reached their destination—the 'last frontier'—but at the cost of heavy losses inflicted by the U.S. Army and civilians.
The dreamcatcher on the cover symbolizes these people; it is stained with blood to represent the sacrifices they endured. It is a beautiful yet haunting story—an ode to freedom that remains deeply melancholic and desperate. Visually, we were also influenced by the excellent band Dreamtide, who often feature dreamcatchers on their own covers
