Interviews About Albums: Broadside - Nowhere, At Last (2026)
In this new interview, we sat down with the American Pop Rock band Broadside to ask questions about their album, "Nowhere, At Last".
1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?
We’ve had the privilege of releasing music and songs prior to this, but this feels like our first “album”. This is the record that I would hand God if he asked what I was doing the whole time down on earth, joking but honestly—we feel very proud of this body of work.
2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?
The constant pressure of being everywhere and the pursuit of doing everything before we die is suffocating. This record is about the pursuit of internal alignment, to escape the monotony of whatever it is, there is solace in the quiet- to be nowhere, to need nowhere to be- is true bliss.
3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?
Andrew Wade/Sean Dolich and the band Broadside wrote the entire album.
4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?
"I Think They Know," great intro: hook is strong, and the vocal production is sexy.
5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?
The message is simple—in this life, there is a start, and there is a finish; the in-between days aren’t made to think of either.
6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?
I wanna feel the earth
While it’s beneath my feet
I wanna feel the sun
Washing over me
I wanna taste your skin
While your in my sheets
I wanna see the world
Let the world see me
Don’t kick the chair from,
Underneath my feet
Lyrics from "Is This It?"
7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Musically, or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?
We’d really like to thank our team: Thriller and Contend Management. They were the match that lit the fire.
8. Something to add?
Oliver Baxxter: Everything is loud, everybody wants you to hear. So thanks for lending me your time, and thanks for being my ears.
