Album Descriptions: AKABANE VULGARS ON STRONG BYPASS - Future Babies (2026)

Future Babies is centered around reawakening and liberation.

Violence, war, inequality, and division have become normalized across the world, treated as unavoidable parts of daily life. In our country as well, the psychological distance toward war feels smaller every year, and that reality deeply concerns us.

As individuals and as musicians, what we discovered while moving through this darkness was that our longing for freedom and peace has only become stronger. While creating this EP, we realized that we had never felt more connected to the spirit of punk than we do now.

Our goal is not to spread ideology or preach a single truth. Rather, this record reflects where we arrived after years of questioning how people with different beliefs might still coexist without destroying one another. We believe punk can still be a space where contradiction, disagreement, emotion, and individuality exist side by side without surrendering to hatred.

The visual identity of Future Babies follows the same idea. The artwork depicts a figure awakening from a bathtub-like restoration chamber after undergoing a process of repair and regeneration. It represents recovery, resistance, and the moment of opening one’s eyes again.
