Band Biographies: Petrosa
Formed in 2019 by guitarist Antonio Buonocore, PETROSA built its identity around a deep passion for stoner rock and classic doom metal. Following the addition of drummer Giorgio Monza and, later, vocalist Aldo Colciago and bassist Andrea Vignati, the band found the chemistry needed to fully develop their artistic vision.
Describing their sound as "Doom Carved in Stone(r)", PETROSA blends the expansive desert rock spirit of Kyuss with the dark, crushing weight of Black Sabbath, creating music that is both powerful and introspective. Their songs explore the complexities of the human condition through massive riffs, immersive atmospheres, and a strong sense of emotional depth.
With "Revenant", PETROSA opens a new chapter in their journey, delivering a track that showcases the band's distinctive approach to heaviness while offering a first taste of what listeners can expect from their upcoming releases.
