Band Biographies: Rocklust

Rocklust was born in May 2023 from an idea by our drummer Alessandro Damiani. After years playing in tribute bands, he wanted to start something original. He teamed up with Federico on bass, Andrea on guitar, and then Francesco joined on vocals and harmonica — that’s when everything really clicked. In May 2024, the band entered Dyne Engine Studio to record the debut album, SMOKING WHEELS, consisting of eight tracks. The record explores the relationship between everyday life and passion, celebrating the energy of rock and the drive to chase one’s dreams without giving up (Don’t Give It Up, Rocklust), while also encouraging listeners to rediscover authentic, timeless emotions (Vinyl Superman).

The album also includes more introspective moments (Child Spirit) and songs with social critique (Virtual Life, Christmas Blues).

Since September 2025, the band has been collaborating with Volcano Records for the promotion and distribution of the singles Smoking Wheels, Wild Crowd, Child Spirit, and of the full album. The lineup is: Francesco Bravi (vocals, harmonica), Andrea Palmieri (guitar), Federico Cicconofri (bass), Alessandro Damiani (drums).
