Behind The Artworks: Alkimista - Contraste (2026)


The cover depicts a skull decorated with lilies, apparently abandoned, surrounded by natural vegetation. The person was buried alive with only the head above ground. The purple color and the flowers are associated with death and funeral rites. These are the obvious pictorial images. Since art can be subjective, further interpretation is left open. I have mine. Others might find something more relatable to their own lives and experiences. They may co-exist or overlap.
