Behind The Artworks: Screams Of Tranquility - Nightshade Serenity (2026)
The concept behind the artwork for "Nightshade Serenity" goes deeper than just a fleeting idea
that somehow made it to an official artwork -
It is a visual manifestation of the EP's core theme: the deceptive peace found within darkness and
the finality of loss. It depicts a grim scene in a haunted, ethereal forest where life and death
interwine in a macabre dance of light and shadows.
The foreground is dominated by blossoming nightshades. It symbolizes the "Serenity" - a
beautiful but lethal plant that offers a painless sleep, mirroring how we often seek comfort in
things that eventually destroy us.
The central figure, a hooded woman holding a lantern and a blood-stained dagger, represents
the inevitable consequences of our personal legacies and the reckless way life carves lessons
into our selfish hearts - you reap what you have sown. The fallen figure stands for the end of a
journey, blood, sweat, and tears we have wasted for something that was never meant to be ours.
