Behind The Tracks: Léan - Desuetude (Single) (2026)

All was started from a simple bard-ish song written by Lorelei Ether a long time ago, in her teenage years; nowadays, when starting Léan, we needed a song that could serve as a demonstration of as many of the project’s artistic features and hooks. And we found it a good idea to base such a song on an already existent foundation made by one of us, and on this foundation, we brought everything peculiar we have, from vocal duos and versatility to an abundance of melodic parts. Lyrics followed the music and followed the same demonstration pattern to underline our use of rhymed verses, extended vocabulary, and sense of poetry. “Desuetude” came as an idea of the gothic vibe we’d like to see embodied.
