Behind The Artworks: NOCTURNAL ETERNITY - ETERNITY (2026)
When I started working on the artwork for ETERNITY, I knew I didn't want to create just
another fantasy album cover. I wanted the artwork to become the visual introduction to
the entire concept behind the album.
Because ETERNITY is a cinematic concept album, it was important to me that the cover
would feel cinematic as well. I created and designed the artwork myself, allowing me to
build a visual identity that perfectly matched the atmosphere of the music.
The central element is a monumental Gothic castle standing alone between the sea and
the night sky. It represents the world where the Dragon's story takes place—a timeless
realm where hope, love, pain, loss, and rebirth coexist. Rather than illustrating a specific
scene from the album, I wanted to create an environment that invites the listener into
that universe.
The dragons flying above the castle are a direct connection to the album's protagonist.
Throughout the eight songs, the Dragon experiences the most defining moments of life:
birth, first love, betrayal, loss, self-discovery, and ultimately rebirth. The cover hints at
this journey without revealing the story itself.
One of the most deliberate artistic choices was the color palette. The contrast between
the blood-red moon and the cold blue shadows was carefully designed to reflect the
emotional balance that exists throughout ETERNITY. Red symbolizes passion, love,
pain, sacrifice, and the intensity of human emotions, while blue represents solitude,
reflection, mystery, and inner strength. These opposing colors coexist in the same
image, just as light and darkness coexist throughout the album.
The castle itself was designed to appear ancient and almost unreachable. It is not
meant to represent a real place, but rather a symbolic world where fantasy becomes a
language for expressing real human emotions. Every architectural detail, every shadow,
and every source of light was placed to reinforce the cinematic atmosphere that defines
the music.
Creating the artwork myself gave me complete creative freedom. I wanted every visual
element to belong to the same artistic vision as the songs, making the cover feel like the
opening scene of a film rather than a standalone illustration.
As both the composer of the music and the creator of the artwork, it was important to
me that the listener would not only hear the story of ETERNITY, but also see its world
before the first note begins. For me, music and visual art are inseparable parts of the
same creative vision.
I hope that when listeners look at the cover, they feel the same curiosity and anticipation
that I felt while creating it. If the artwork makes someone stop for a moment, imagine
the world behind those gates, and then press play to discover what lies beyond, then it
has fulfilled its purpose.
For me, the artwork is the first chapter of ETERNITY. Before a single note is played, it
opens the gates to the world of Nocturnal Eternity and invites the listener to begin a
journey through a story about hope, loss, resilience, and the courage to rise again.
