Band Biographies: In Movement

We are a band from Blanes, on the Costa Brava. We have known each other all our lives and have been friends since childhood. Although we had each been involved in our own musical projects over the years, we had never played together in a band.

In September 2025, almost as a joke, the idea of starting something together came up after a small concert at the wedding of one of the members, where we ended up getting together and sharing the stage. Driven by the desire to play music with friends and have a good time, we decided to give it a shot. We found a rehearsal space and, between October and November, we started rehearsing seriously. After considering several names, we eventually settled on the one that felt right: In Movement.

We initially started out playing a few covers, but it didn't take long before we began writing our own material. We made our live debut on April 24, 2026, and our next show will take place on September 26 at La Nau in Blanes.

As for recordings, our goal is to release our first EP before the end of the year. We already have some material recorded and are currently finishing everything up so we can put it together and release it soon.

In terms of style, we mainly operate within the post-hardcore genre. It's a broad and diverse genre, and we don't like putting ourselves into a box. We are looking for a powerful, dynamic sound with plenty of attitude, both in our music and on stage.
