Behind The Artworks: Uragh - Tempest / Wisp (2026)

The artwork comes from Co. Kerry photographer Kirk Kelly, taken from one of his shots of the Irish landscape. It's an ocean image that somehow holds both the Tempest and the Wisp in a single frame.

As with all of our artwork, there's a loose connection to the subject matter of the record, but it's ultimately driven by vibe. We tend to see something and immediately think, that's it! And that's exactly what happened here.

Interestingly, Kirk had actually named the photograph Wisp, so we decided to take that as the title of one of the two songs. In that sense, Kirk is partly responsible for the name of the track.

Kirk is an incredibly talented photographer who doesn't just shoot landscapes. He also captures bands in a live setting, and we highly recommend checking out his work.
