In this new interview, we sat down with the American Posh-Punk artist Darro to ask questions about their album, "Pretty Privilege".

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

Pretty privilege is the culmination of my past mistakes chasing validation. Each song surrounds different moments of my life struggling to be accepted.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

Since moving to the West Coast, I've seen how people are treated differently based on their looks, and it made me realize everyone is seeking validation, which is why I decided to name the EP Pretty Privilege.

3. Who is the composer of the CD/EP?

This song was co-written and produced by Miami Dolphin, literally one of the best songwriters and producers I’ve ever been in the room with lol. The man is a genius; idk how he does it.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

Ugh, this is tough, but I’m really feeling “back again” right now.

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is, what is it?

You gotta learn to accept yourself before other people accept you.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

“I’ve been working at this college that I can’t afford to go anyway.”

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank specially?
