Band Biographies: Failure To See

Failure to See is a modern/progressive metalcore band from Beirut, Lebanon, formed a little over a year ago in 2025. The band came together through five different musical backgrounds, with each member bringing their own influences, ideas, and way of approaching music. Rather than trying to fit into one specific sound, Failure to See has been built around finding the space where all of those different identities can exist together. Drawing influence from bands like Spiritbox, Silent Planet, Invent Animate, Currents, and Architects, the band moves between atmosphere and heaviness, melodic and chaotic moments, and more experimental ideas, while keeping emotion at the center of what they create. The goal has always been to take the things that inspire each member and turn them into something that feels natural to the five of them as Failure to See.

The band released its debut single, “Faded,” on August 14, 2026, marking the beginning of their journey and introducing their sound to the scene. Since then, the band has been building momentum across Lebanon and the region while continuing to work on new material.

Failure to See is currently finishing up their debut EP, “Patterns,” and approaching the release of their next single, “Lockstep.” The EP explores the tension between inner perception and reality as well as the space between dreaming and living life wide awake. Across its songs, “Patterns” follows a search for meaning, identity, and the truths that can become hidden beneath the way we perceive ourselves and the world around us. With “Lockstep” coming next and “Patterns” following soon after, Failure to See is continuing to shape its sound while taking its first steps into the wider metal scene.
