Vespera emerged quietly in 2016 and quickly outgrew its quiet formation.

Built independently between Seattle and Los Angeles, the band drew early support from Billboard, Revolver, Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Alternative Press, Consequence, and New Noise.

From the beginning, the music moved between the ethereal, the enigmatic, and the aggressive, using heaviness as a form of psychological introspection.
