Behind The Artworks: Hunter Omega - Lake Of Death (2026)

After "Rebel Angels Rise", we were very happy about our collaboration with Lordigan (Pedro Senna). The art for "Rebel Angels Rise" was amazing, and he's very professional. He shows us quick mock-ups first and is open to change requests and feedback. He understands the assignment and vision immediately, and we can give him a lot of freedom. We can trust him.

So this time for "Lake of Death", we asked Lordigan to come up with some eerie lake, maybe between mountains, and some dude on a horse riding towards it. It's very hard to convey what I see in my head to an artist, but miraculously, Pedro just gets it and then runs with it and adds his own stuff. I think he added the castle in the back. It didn't take a lot of iterations. The vision I had in mind was some knight on a horse, riding up to a spooky lake. That's it, really. If you think about it, it's insane that this came out of it, based on a very simple premise. That's just talent.

For me now, the artwork is combining three songs: the knight is literally the "Knight of the Black Rose", the lake is the cold "Lake of Death", and the castle features the tower that the creature in "Ghost of Anarchy" escapes from.
