Behind The Scenes: Opensight – Broken Vow (Official Video)

With “Broken Vow”, we wanted to create a music video that felt like a lost documentary or instructional film centred on a secret organisation called The Outfit. We assembled it from found and public-domain footage, behind-the-scenes material from our promotional photo shoot, and live footage of the band. That is perhaps the main secret behind the video: some of what appears to be purpose-shot narrative footage began as genuine documentation and acquired a different meaning during the edit. That uncertainty is part of the story, allowing “Broken Vow” to connect with the other Opensight films and carry the wider narrative forward.
