In this new interview, we sat down with the Melodic Rock band Gods Of Tomorrow to ask questions about their album, "Gods Of Tomorrow".

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

Regarding the new album, I can say that it contains very honest stories and successfully blends the 1980s with the present day.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

The name of the band and the album is rooted in my Greek heritage. In ancient Greece, there was much talk of heroes and gods—of myths and great deeds performed for the good of the people and humanity.

3. Who is the composer of the CD/EP?

I am the composer of the pieces—Konstantinos Markou—as well as the band's founder and lead guitarist.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

If I could choose a song—personally, for myself—it would certainly be "Dying for Your Love." Each of us has surely experienced true love at some point in our lives. Sometimes the beginning is very difficult. Yet, love always triumphs in the end, and two people who love each other like that come together.

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is, what is it?

I would certainly say yes, because I have always drawn on real-life situations and themes—things I experienced myself and events in my own circle that inspired me to write.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

It is certainly difficult for me personally to single out a specific passage or lyric from the album, as there are so many; however, the song "Feuer und Eis" (Fire and Ice) immediately comes to mind. One particular passage goes: "Generals die on the fields—the book of war for justice that never ends; through hell and alongside demons, you fight for God Himself." People all over the world are sold the idea that they are fighting for God. Yet there is only one God in this world, and I am absolutely convinced that He would certainly never consider war to be right. It is all about political interests—interests for which thousands of people unfortunately always have to lose their lives. The sad thing is that history keeps repeating itself. And yet, it could be so simple: if everyone acted for the common good and greed didn't take center stage, we could all live together in peace and harmony.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank specially?

Naturally, I want to thank my family—and, first and foremost, my friends and bandmates. Life itself was the inspiration that brought this album into being. I was simply the one who started making it audible—for myself and for everyone out there who doesn't close their eyes or look away, but instead faces up to real problems. After all, as I mentioned, the album is like an honest book.

8. Something to add?

A major goal is certainly to play the songs live with the band and go on tour as soon as possible. We are already recording the new album alongside everything else, and I am putting a great deal of effort into making it even better than the first one. I wish everyone in the world peace, lots of love, and good health. And hope that it reaches many people around the world and that our music finds a large following.
