1. Trinity:
The power of three.

Trinity opens the door to Eminent Womb and welcomes you into the world of Mama Doom.
2. Morning Son:
Fifteen years ago, I was pregnant with my son. At the time, some of my bandmates were a little displeased with the idea of me entering motherhood. It would no doubt mean the end of my musical career...or so they thought.
My son gave me a strength I never knew I had. Instead of ending anything, becoming a mother made me feel unstoppable.
Morning Son welcomes him into the world and celebrates everything that has followed since.
3. Woven Linen:
Woven Linen confronts the weight of religious oppression and reclaims where true power resides—with the Mother, the source of all life.
It's about questioning who has been given power throughout history and remembering where life itself begins.
4. Anesthetic:
We are currently working on a music video for Anesthetic with Gratuitous Productions.
This is a mad love song. The kind of love where you're so completely blinded and all you can see is them. You'd do anything for them. Give up anything for them.
Sometimes love can feel like an anesthetic—you stop feeling everything else around you.
5. Night of Day:
A bass-only track, beautifully crafted by Chuckie Rumbles.
This hidden piece has been a long time coming and is finally seeing the Night of Day.
6. Blue:
Lucifer's fall from the heavens, coloring the world blue.
Blue represents clarity, calmness, and peace. Falling doesn't mean destruction. Sometimes it's what opens your eyes.
7. Mother's Mercy:
Begging on your knees for a miracle versus finding the strength to make things happen for yourself.
Mother's Mercy questions where we look for salvation. Do we wait and pray for someone or something to save us? Or do we eventually realize that the power to change our lives may have been inside us all along?
8. Picked Clean:
Being with someone who slowly wears you down until you have nothing left to give.
They make you believe you can't survive without them. That you aren't enough on your own. Until eventually, you realize you never needed that person to begin with.
Picked Clean is about finding the strength and your own power to finally move on.
9. Nightshade:
A quirky acoustic number about poisoning someone over tea.
Who doesn’t love a little murder with your afternoon tea?
10. Home Is in the Ground:
This one is a little different for us.
In past projects, much of my lyrical content centered around addiction and mental illness. With the rebirth of Mama Doom, my writing has become a little lighter, more humorous, and, of course, still satanic.
But this song took me down an old, familiar path.
Depression.
How low can you fall? How far down do you have to go before you finally find your way back?
A somber way to end the album and perhaps a reminder that even when you're at your lowest, there is still somewhere to go from there.
