Track By Tracks: Prevailer - Convalescent (2026)

1. Diseased Frames:

This track navigates the subject of addiction and keeping humanity hooked on substances and materialism for profit and moral decay. Hence lines like, "forging a new breed, woven of addiction and greed." And, "centuries of demoralising nations justifying our world at war. Gifting us a chemical demand, locked away in a dead promised land."

2. Into the Furnace:

This song is centered around the end times, specifically how the new world order system will actively demonize Christians to wipe them out, paving the way for the new regime. On the other side of the coin, I touch on the frustration and feeling of abandonment as a Christian being tested in these grueling times. I tried to really drive that point forward in the chorus, "Underneath the surface. wandering.

Buried beneath the war.

Is this defeat?

Losing our sense of purpose.

Abandon me.

Exiled and cast into the furnace."

3. Conflux:

This track centers around technology and how it's being used as a weapon against the masses instead of the useful tools they were sold to us as. I wanted to dive into tech dependency, addiction, and how that, in time it will ultimately usher in the mark of the beast. "Tethered to the ones and zeros, towing our line behind the blind.

Rearranging the fabric of nature,

To rewrite ourselves.

Deceit embedded in the air.

Corroded hearts are the wounds we share." Is a great example of this.

4. Convalescent:

No vocals on this track, but the name itself for the song and album ties everything together. We as humanity are healing from the apathetic illness inflicted upon society by the deep influence of spiritually wicked principalities. We all heal by seeking and finding Jesus Christ, which reveals the truth about this place we inhabit and our place in it.

5. Entry Wound:

This work mainly centers around loss. I wanted to express what we will all go through at some point in our lives. Weighing the guilt, sorrow, and acceptance, but also the wondering. If we'll see our loved ones again someday, was there something that could've been changed... I wanted to explore that pain and acceptance to try and have this track connect with those who are going through the motions. "Searching for remedy to end this constant fight.

Allowing the pain to burn in, leaving its mark inside."

6. Crooked Atlas:

This one dives into the daily political corruption we constantly witness in our world. Especially our own government and how we're always told or sold one thing, but it's only a move for a more insidious agenda. The opening lines really drive the point home: "Societies built on glass foundations. Designed to shatter with one laceration. At the helm, a house of cards lined with corrupted halls. Filled with criminals who will steal from all."

7. Malady:

This track centers around the moral decay we experience daily. Through political leanings, materialism, and absurd ideological stances, we are constantly being targeted to shift the direction of true prosperity. Instead, we're sold into infighting and turmoil while the powers that be conduct their wicked deeds to lock down humanity as much as possible. The chorus sums everything up perfectly. "Children of indoctrination lured out of our state of distinction. Were imprisoned, bound and enslaved to a vivid illusion of freedom."

8. Inversion:

This final overarching track dives into the global push to invert morality standards set by the creator, which is best described in Isaiah. "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" The "silent war" (as stated in the first line of the lyrics) is a psychological one that's subtle and more effective than armies and physical invasions because the ideas are embedded over time and last generations, inevitably molding the nation. However, having discernment and being aware allows us to not feel fear. As the last lines state, we just need to ask God for guidance and wisdom in these trying times and to give thanks, because if it weren't for him, we wouldn't be here! "Finally, their facade has faded. I pray you see what we were born to do. Confide in all that is honest, believe in all that is true. Burn warnings in our hearts (x3) cuz this is all for you!"
