Band Biographies: Oöhna Call

Oöhna Call is a trio from Tours, France, that has been developing instrumental music at the crossroads of post-rock and noise since 2019.

The project is led by the Ilharragorry brothers, who were active in the noise-rock band Weeping Minds of Silence at the dawn of the millennium and later in the dark-rock project Kraken Oxen, and by drummer Alexis Giboureau, who joined them in 2022. After two EPs, the trio returns with a new album, "eKKo", and its eight instrumental tracks. This poetic, sonic, and melodic exploration of the theme of echo, weaving together resonances, loops, and reminiscences with organic and synthetic sounds, is a unique blend of sound.
