Behind The Tracks: First One Dies - Nightmare (Single) (2026)

“Nightmare” released in May 2026, is a deathcore track by Atlanta band First One Dies. The lyrics for the single were written by vocalist Ray Hunter. The song was written about fighting demons and anxiety, and having no rest from it, even in your sleep. The song was produced in-house by F1D guitarist Johnathon “Johno” McGiboney, with Tanner Gross on drums and Breanna Minter on guitar.

The single offers a taste of the new style of the freshly re-branded group after a year-long hiatus. The band expects to release a 4-song EP in late 2026.
