Track By Tracks: Überchriist - Dæmonic Apotheosis (2026)

1. Anti-Phoenix Descent:

Depicting a journey of martyrdom and plunging into darkness akin to a vast body of water, the opening track sets a tone of setting out on a grand voyage of ordeals and discovery, using key and tempo changes to depict the unpredictability of the journey and illustrating the confrontation and acceptance of the celestial spirit of water, winter, and darkness as a metaphor for finding truth beyond one’s mortal limits and the comforts of light, heat, and guidance.

2. Serpent’s Shroud:

Tremolo picking and blast beats carry the bulk of the song, with a heavy metal-influenced breakdown through the middle section. Lyrically, it describes the serpent's offer: the skin it has shed, held out as a gift and a way out of the body you're stuck in. Wearing it leads to rebirth and transcendence.

3. Vicissitude Ov Fate:

A straightforward warning to be wary of what are true acts of god or fate, and what are acts of man deceitfully characterized as such, accompanied by pounding rhythms and cascading melodies.

4. Tomb Creeper:

Blast beats, black metal shrieks, and melodic tremolo guitar melodies run the bulk of the track. Lyrically, it's communion across distance, spectral towers falling and telepathic dreams standing in for anything spoken, with everything that matters happening in between.

5. Faith in Darkness:

A manifesto about invading the Kingdom of Heaven, usurping the power of the almighty and establishing a Universal Demonate in its place, over some ceremonial and majestic black metal riffs.

6. Black Voiid:

Ripping black metal riffs with progressive changes, the music spans everything from black metal to classic metal. Lyrically, the theme and scale are cosmic, witnessed by someone watching the remains of many worlds destroyed by war and amassing into dust. The ultimate realization is that in this moment their thoughts and consciousness count for nothing. The song ends in the black void, everything destroyed with only our consciousness left to witness it.

7. Subterranean Goat Transfiguration:

A tale of a stone gargoyle demon created in Hell who undergoes herculean trials to earn a body of flesh, coming to idealize an existence beyond organic and mineral states of matter. The music ranges from primitive to spiritual and back again accordingly.

8. Everdark Calling:

The song moves between classic metal gallops and tremolo-picked melodies, with a thrash edge coming through at parts. Lyrically, it's about existential self-destruction, an internal sickness that calls from within, infecting thoughts and senses. It spreads inward until complete deterioration

9. Awakening Ancient Power:

Ruminations on the effect of breaking down one’s societal conditioning to see through the eyes of a beast, or beyond the need for rationality, and the possibilities and dangers inherent in doing so, with some forays into blackened-motor-power-metal.

10. Psychocosm:

A snapshot of the temporal cycle of The All, and an indirect examination of what lies at the cusp of permanence and impermanence. Also our psychedelic song.
