Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band Beneath The Encasing from Singapore, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Well, one fine day Taufik was on his way back home streaming some golden tunes on his phone when he found this undeniably strong attachment to one of the songs by his favorite band thus deciding to build on it and chose it as our band name.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We have no definite answer for this though we fell that this is the best-suited genre for us as we came from different genre background but one thing for sure is playing Metalcore is fun & challenging because what we wanna achieve is not to sound local.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Guitarists, Haikel, Zulhilmi & vocalist, Taufik knew each other as they were in the same band for a period of time. Drummer, Ardy & bassist, Casey used to be in the same band as well but played a whole different genre then.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Zulhilmi & Haikel likes The Air I Breathe, Breakdown of Sanity & August Burns Red. Taufik likes As I lay Dying. Ardy likes those Deathcore/Grindcore bands like Aborted, Misery Index, Dying Fetus etc & as for Casey, he likes Metalcore, Deathcore & notably the Black Metal band, Dimmu Borgir.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The Air I Breathe really inspires Zulhilmi to write songs. Their guitarist, Cameron and Jessie are amazing guitarist. Drummer, Ardy is inspired by many drummers but for this band, he cited Alex Rudinger, Matt Greiner & Blake Richardson as his inspiration. we write songs so much more for those are able to relate to them. we try to express ourselves as much as we possibly can in every song that we write as a band.

6. Where was your last gig?

As a band, we have yet to perform live but as individuals, we have performed many times before & Ardy & Casey even did toured Malaysia & Indonesia with their previous band.

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere, it doesn’t really matter as long as we’re having fun.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Breakdown of Sanity, August Burns Red, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Threat Signal, Betraying The Matyrs. Too many to mention.

9. Whom not?

Sleeping With Sirens, Devil Wears Prada, Attack Attack & bands like’em.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not that we know of but here’s a tip from our vocalist, Taufik. He said “The best tip I can give to those with stage fright especially the front man of the band is to close your eyes before you set your eyes on everyone who is standing right in front of you and tell yourself that you are going to have the time of your life and make sure everyone else do too.”

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

August Burns Red, The Air I Breathe, Breakdown of Sanity, Northlane, After The Burial, Veil of Maya, Elitist, I the Breather, Signals from Saturn, Threat Signal, Betraying the Matyrs, Parkway Drive and the list goes on.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Don't think we have fans yet but looking forward to meet them if we do.

13. What do you think of your fans?

When we do, we think they're gonna be crazy but we have had support since the release of our single, Voices. Huge support & we love'em.

14. What do you think of our site?

We believe it is a great platform to help showcase bands especially new and uprising ones because without this, it would be a total waste for those really great bands that are unable to really showcase their materials because we have come across plenty great bands that has died off over time due to this. Also, this helps those who frequent your site to update their playlist with fresh new songs. Awesome stuff you have on your site, good that you actually scout for bands & have'em up on your site...we're glad that you featured us man, shitload of thanks goes to you.

15. Something to add?

Well, we're relatively new but not new to music as we're from different bands of different genres. Genre is not a boundary & we guess  that is the mentality many of our local musicians here has adopt. Keep checking us out on our, Bandcamp, Twitter and Facebook, shitload of updates and please please please do download our single, Voices, it's free. Rape the fucking repeat button & tweet to us what do you guys think of it & lastly to those who have been supporting us, A HUGE THANK YOU FROM US!! And As a band, we would like to extend our utmost gratitude for taking the time and giving us this opportunity to interview us and also, to share our stuffs. It means a lot to us. We are in the process of finishing our songs off our upcoming debut untitled EP album. Keep up the firm support & we will release an EP with nothing but kickass METALCORE!
