War Of Ages - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, we had the opportunity to interview the amazing Metalcore band War Of Ages from USA. This interview is about the band biography and their new album "Supreme Chaos", out now. So, I hope you will like this interview, you will read it and dont forget to like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name?
The name “War of Ages” is a phrase meant to inspire hope to a lost generation. A generation stricken with depression, helplessness, and absolutely no accountability. That’s the idea behind the name, however the choice of phrase is purely iconic and is of no consequence.
2. Why did you want to play this genre of music?
I love energy mixed with passion by means of music. The ability itself was God given as was the opportunity in which case I am forever grateful. A genre forged by creative opportunity and fed by my upbringing as a youth. Both run parallel and fit together nicely within the genre of metal.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Alex (drummer) is my younger brother and Steve (guitarist) and I worked together after high school. Jack is an old friend that we toured with during the earlier years of WOA.
4. What can you tell our readers about your new album "Supreme Chaos"?
Everything you’ve grown to love about War of Ages pored into a pot mixed with dueling solos (on every track) and TONS of production that accents the song instead of destroying it.
5. Who or what inspired you to write the songs of this new CD?
Every human being on the face of the deep who is depressed, suicidal, an addict, sociopath, or narcissistic.
6. Can you tell us about the idea behind the title of the new album?
We live in a world with humanity hell bent on destroying itself. The choice of title “Supreme Chaos” matched the lyrical thought flawlessly.
7. What do your fans mean to you?
Our fans are an integral part of our foundation because they give us the ability to achieve greatness commercially. This then enables WOA to plant and water seeds in the hearts of many spiritually. Our choices and actions therein as “band members” can either flaw character immensely or build honor and integrity both in our own hearts as well as others.
8. What do you think of our website www.breathingthecoreofficial.wordpress.com?
Well put together site where people can research and learn about bands that might peak their interest. I like it!
