Elyne - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band Elyne from Italy, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

There's a plan, we can't explain with details, but it's a person very dear to me.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

This type of music is what came out directly by our mind and heart, we very appreciate this mix of violence and melody, it's exactly what we represent.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we're all play in other project.

4. Each band member favourite band?

It's hard to say the really favorite one, but we can say that we're like pretty much bands like Underoath, Killswitch Engage, August Burns Red, Funeral For A Friend and many more...

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

For the songwriting we just put the raw idea of the songs, and all together we print the final idea, for this album we've tried to play something new, and we're so happy about the product.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in a very huge festival in Rimini, Rock Beach Festival.

7. Where would you like to act?

We're planning to reach more people as possible, so we dream the usa of course.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Architects, we've play one day with them, and it's a band that we like too much!

9. Whom not?

Everyone is accepted, music it's an art for everyone who want enjoy. Anyway, we think is better play with a band of our same genre of music.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We need to confess, that we never had any problems about that, but the gig that had signed us, was the show with Architects, we're shaking because was the first big crowd in front of us, now everything is good! No fright!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We think Underoath, is the perfect mix of deeply and violent music mixed with clean part, but better is the mood of the melodies that had signed us.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing of particular, but is happened to sign some autograph, and that pretty unusual for us!

13. What do you think of your fans?

We think that they are great, and when we see some people that really understand what we do, what his hidden behind our sound, behind our lyrics, is the best thing in the world, like a big huge family.
