Misanthropy - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Deathcore band Misanthropy from UK, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Sadly it’s not a very exciting storey we simply fired some names around for a while then someone said Misanthropy and it just sounded perfect so it stuck.
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
We have always being into heavy music, so really there wasn’t any choice. It’s all about the metal.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Some did some did not, two of us have being writing together since we were 15. Then we met Scott around 2010 and through him we found Szymon.
4. Each band member favourite band?
That’s a really really hard question, not even sure we can answer that one but we will try.
Andrew – As I lay Dying
Scott - Erra Szymon – “honestly I can not answer”
Ben – This Will Destroy You
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
It has to come from inside you I think, you just feel the mood coming and then you know its time to write and try and convey the sounds in your brain to sounds in other peoples ear’s.
6. Where was your last gig?
Honestly we can’t remember some time in the summer; we kinder took a break and looked for a new drummer along with changing the name, however we will be back in 2015.
7. Where would you like to play?
Well we might as well aim high, Wembley.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
If you mean play with I guess with the big names in or genre at the moment, so maybe Erra, Thy Art is Murder etc.
9. Worm not?
We would never turn down a gig but I guess we wouldn’t want to play with some bullshit factory act like Katie Perry, but at the same time we would like to play with Katie Perry the crowd would be huge.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
Not for a while now as have all being doing it for a number of year’s, but I would say just go for it with all you’ve got because if you don’t after the gig you will regret it.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
A huge list ranging a number of decades, but a few would be, Pantera, Metallica, Veil of Maya and anything orchestral.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Not sure about weird but it’s always funny when people ask you to play some workman’s club in the middle of no where for no money and no promotion.
13. What do you think of your fans?
They are our fans and we love them. Anyone who gives us there time or money for our music we can’t thank you enough.
14. What do you think of our site?
Seams cool. Loads of good stuff on it, can’t wait to keep up to date with you guys from now on.
