Album Descriptions: Toy Called God - Heartache Or Homicide (2025)

This album (Heartache Or Homicide) is a concept record written around the idea of a romantic relationships’ life cycle when one person in the relationship is a murderous killer. Each song is written from either the suspect's or victim’s perspective. The artwork as an extension of that, depicts a homicide scene, and a detective investigating the crime. The detective in this case is our goathead mascot, Gary The Goatguy that we have used on previous albums. We also wanted the cover to have a slightly noir vibe, so we chose certain elements accordingly.
