Behind The Artworks: SECREUM - Metamorphosis (Single) (2025)

Charlotte: When I create artwork for the band, I listen to the lyrics and how they make me feel, and what I imagine them to look like if I painted a picture. For metamorphosis, I automatically think of a butterfly coming out of its cocoon, being at peace with its transformation, so I went with that and kept layering the artwork up until it felt and looked right. We went with a blue theme due to colour psychology. Blue makes you think of peace, tranquility, and wisdom. Despite the pace and style of the music, it’s actually lyrically very insightful and positive.
