Track By Tracks: ACCVSED - Dealers Of Doom (2025)

1. Day of the Locust:

The riff that started a whole new era of our music. I wrote it randomly, and it ended up being what kick-started the album. Lyrically, it’s about being reborn - even if it means losing everything in the process.

2. Dealers of Doom:

I think this is the fastest-paced song we’ve done, relying solely on heavy riffs and screams. Maybe you can hear a Slipknot influence. This song sounds like its meaning: a violent call for revolution.

3. Don’t Let Me Fall Apart:

Our friend Jochi from The Narrator features on this one. Like most of the other tracks, it’s very personal and emotional. This one’s about never being 100% in the moment and slowly losing control of everything.

4. Total Eclipse of Self:

One of the darkest songs we wrote, and also one of the last ones for the album. Musically, it strays further from our style than any other song on the record, leaning more into the realm of Melodic Death - fitting for the feature of Dominic from Cypecore. Lyrically, this song is about yearning for numbness through anything, for example, substances, but realizing that the methods that once worked have lost their effect.

5. Killer of Minds:

Killer of Minds represents a way of recovering from emotional abuse through hate. It’s about pushing through and fighting off those who will always try to drain you empty. Musically, this one hits hard and was the first track we released with no cleans at all.

6. Avoider:

Avoider is about losing again after fighting hard - spiraling back into ingrained habits of involuntarily hurting people who get too close.

7. Make Sure It Hurts:

Musically, this is the calmest song we’ve ever done, but it carries a serious emotional heaviness that makes it a perfect fit for the album. It’s about cutting bonds, reminiscing about the past, and looking back with a bittersweet taste.

8. Senescence:

Senescence, the focus track of our album release, is about struggling with existential despair, self-loathing, and the fear of being forgotten. It reflects inner darkness and the search for meaning in suffering.

9. Never Enough:

Incarnating the greed of our modern society, Never Enough is a confession of a late-stage capitalist. It captures the relentless pursuit of more - where personal wealth is placed above the well-being of others, paving the way for inevitable annihilation. The protagonist, admired by some and loathed by the rest, continues to consume and exploit, driven by an insatiable greed that will not cease until everything in its path is destroyed.

10. Obsidian:

This track carries a glimpse of hope at the end of the album. It’s about breaking free and emotional growth. It stands for a feeling of relief, knowing that the future holds a positive perspective after all.
