Band Biographies: Soulfracture
After a 17-year hiatus, SOULFRACTURE are back and releasing their new EP THE LEADER OF THE
EXPLOITED on 7th November 2025.
Formed in 2003 in Leeds, England, after releasing their EP BURIED REALITY, they gained local support
and shared the stage with bands such as TESTAMENT and VISCERAL BLEEDING, along with local
established bands such as RED STARS PARADE, D-RAIL, CAMORRA, EVERETTE, and others.
In 2007, they were signed to THIRTY DAYS OF NIGHT RECORDS (BRING ME THE HORIZON, THE
NOTHING, MARTYR DEFILED, ETERNAL LORD) and released their debut album ASHES OF EXISTENCE, recorded and mixed by Jase Sanderson (ERRANDER), featuring 8 tracks of Melodic Death infused
Thrash Metal.
Following the release of the album, they shared the stage with well-established bands within the
metal scene, such as NAPALM DEATH, ABORTED, SUICIDE SILENCE, ALL SHALL PERISH, ABIGAIL
WILLIAMS, BRING ME THE HORIZON, and many more. They also performed at DAMNATION FESTIVAL
2007 alongside KREATOR, ANAAL NATHRAKH, and KATAKLYSM.
In 2008, the band went their separate ways and explored other music ventures. After staying in
contact and recently practicing old material, they decided to hit the studio, the result of which is the 4
Track EP THE LEADER OF THE EXPLOITED.
