Behind The Tracks: Constantine Kanakis - Ground Zero (Single) (2025)

'Ground Zero' is a passion project recorded entirely in my home studio as a 100% solo effort—meaning the writing, performance, recording, mixing, and mastering were all handled by me.

 

It's a direct homage to my heroes and main inspirations like Satriani, Jason Becker, and Yngwie Malmsteen. However, my focus was squarely on developing a strong, memorable melody, prioritizing it as the most important element, with the "shreddy, flashy stuff" serving a secondary role.
