Behind The Tracks: Let Shades Do - No More Lies (Single) (2025)

"No More Lies" is the third chapter in the sonic quadrilogy that defines the debut EP of let ShadeS do – a compelling metal project born in Italy and shaped by an international creative force.

Written by Domenico Di Girolamo (music) and Giovanni Giuliani (lyrics), the track unfolds as a bleak commentary on the disintegration of truth, the collapse of faith in institutions, and the rising tide of societal decay. With lines like “No life, no future, no more lies”, the song encapsulates the hopeless frustration of a world spinning out of control, haunted by propaganda, systemic failure, and mental oppression.

The vocal performance by Zachary “Zak” Stevens (Savatage, TSO) adds gravitas and intensity to the message, while the guitar interplay between Neil Zaza and Alex Under fuels the song’s emotional escalation with technical brilliance and expressive power.

From the rhythmic fire of Enrico “Chan Choosy” Cianciusi (drums) to the low-end depth of Oliver Holzwarth (bass), "No More Lies" stands as a manifesto: musically sharp, thematically urgent, and visually enhanced by a dark, esoteric music video that continues the dystopian storyline seen in the band’s earlier releases.

Let ShadeS do is not merely a metal band. It's a narrative force using music as its weapon and catharsis as its target.
