Band Biographies: Jawfane
Jawfane is entering a new era built from the four
emotional languages that shaped them. Emerging
from Nashville’s post-hardcore underground, the
band has developed a rare four-vocalist dynamic,
blending the urgency of Alexisonfire, the
atmosphere of Deftones, the rhythmic swagger of
Don Broco, and the raw punk heart of AFI.
Guitarist/Vocalist Cory Pack channels the raw
intensity of hearing Watch Out! in real time,
bringing visceral post-hardcore energy and
emotional depth to the songs. Keyboardist/Vocalist
Jesse expands the band’s sound into darker,
textural atmospheres, layering melodic textures
that breathe and create space. Drummer/Vocalist
AJ adds modern, rhythm-forward movement,
dynamic phrasing, and powerful call-and-response
energy, making the drum kit another vocal
instrument. Bassist/Vocalist Chase grounds the
music with melodic honesty and punk-rooted
simplicity, balancing the more art-rock moments
and providing a steady emotional anchor.
Together, they create music that is heavy without
relying on formula, emotional without theatrics,
and cinematic without losing its pulse.
Jawfane’s new era is their most human work yet:
four voices, four histories,
one shared momentum,
and a sound built for anyone who has ever felt torn
between nostalgia, rage, and the need to rebuild..
