Interviews: Brute Forcz

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock band Brute Forcz from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name? Did you plan it, or did it just come out like that?

My brother and I are ex-professional wrestlers; we were the heavy metal guys, and BRUTE FORCZ (Slammer & Jammer) was the name of our tag-team. We would destroy our opponents with physicality and force. So when we started the band, we wanted people to know that the music that we played would be loud and physical, with its own distinctive sound and style, just like our tag-team.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

See answer for the 1st question....

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Just my brother and I. We did not know our guitar player before.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

My brother and I like Motorhead, Judas Priest, AC/DC, WASP, bands in that genre. Our guitar player likes Gary Moore, John Sykes, Blackmore, etc....

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I use real-life situations and some historical events to write our songs. Same situations that a lot of people deal with or come into contact everyday...

6. Where was your last gig?

The last time we toured was in Eastern Europe a few years ago. Being in California, COVID has had a huge effect on bands out here in just about every aspect. It has taken us a while, but we are back in the game again, so look for us....

7. Where would you like to act?

If that means where we would like to play, I would definitely have to say everywhere in Europe again, and also in Japan. I think everyone would definitely like our music.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like to be featured with anyone; we don't really care who it is. (except see answer below)

9. Whom not?

Green Day and Fall Out Boy (hope everyone is laughing)

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

I think everyone has suffered from some degree of stage fright. Usually, when you first get started, you go onstage and see a small handful of people or even fewer in the crowd; it is a little nerve-racking. One of our first gigs was on a weeknight when it was raining, and it was basically the band and waitresses there. Every movement and word is heard and amplified...Advice would be to just get through it and move on, it gets a whole lot better...

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

For us, the 80's metal bands, especially Motorhead, Priest, etc. But we all like a wide range of different artists.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A couple asked if we could play at their wedding.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love our fans. They love good, hard rock music with great guitar work, and there is a huge lack of that now in today's music.

14. What do you think of our site?

This is an awesome site and much needed. It has a wide range of different music and artists, with good interviews and stories. It also gives the bands that are lesser known an opportunity to be heard, and that is outstanding. We would like to thank Jon Unibaso for giving us this opportunity to be heard.

15. Something to add?

Again, thanks for the opportunity to be seen and heard. We also have a new lyric video for the song, "Factory of Death (Auschwitz). The links for both the song and the video are listed below. We hope everyone will show us some support. Thanks..
