Interviews About Albums: Lords Of Salem - Supersonic Vampire Pussy (2026)

In this new interview, we sat down with the German Cinematic Rock/Metal band Lords Of Salem to ask questions about their album, "Supersonic Vampire Pussy".

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

I can say this much about the new album, *Supersonic Vampire Pussy*: it is the best album we have ever made. There is so much to discover in every song, and—actually—they are all quite catchy.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

"SUPERSONIC VAMPIRE PUSSY"—that’s a cool album title, and it shows that we have a great sense of humor and love movies—aside from the music, of course. You shouldn't read too much into it, though; the whole thing is really meant to be taken with a wink.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

The album was, to some extent, written by everyone; however, ultimately—thanks to the riffs and lyrics—Holly (guitar) and Postel (vocals) naturally played a major role in the whole endeavor. Moreover, Holly is quite the sonic tinkerer—someone who tends to spend a bit *too* much time on things—though, of course, at the end of the day, the sound is all the better for it.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

Hmm... as for which song on the album I like best—well, that naturally tends to shift from time to time—but right now I'm really into "HILLS HAVE EYES" and "SUPERSONIC VAMPIRE PUSSY." That could change again, of course, but I'd say all the songs are cool and each one has something special about it. So give them a listen—and hit that like button!

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?

No, the album doesn't have any particular message—other than: have fun, enjoy life, come to our shows, and support us! That’s the most important message for us. Hahahaha!

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

How am I supposed to insert an entire set of lyrics here? Just listen to all the songs, pick out the lyrics that resonate most with you, and have fun with them.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thanks specially?

So, the influences for the album *SUPERSONIC VAMPIRE PUSSY* are, naturally, all the bands we ourselves have loved and celebrated for years—bands like Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie, Rammstein... but also, of course, our love for films like *Mad Max* and all those classic horror monster movies from the 1950s and 60s—films such as *Tarantula!*, *Creature from the Black Lagoon*, *Dracula*, *Night of the Living Dead*... and so on.

8. Something to add?

I’d like to thank you here for the interview, and we appreciate any and all support. Of course, I also want to thank everyone out there who loves and supports bands like ours; without cool fans, none of this would be possible. We love you all and look forward to hearing from you or receiving your support. THANK YOU, Marple – LORDS OF SALEM
