Interviews About Albums: Glory Days - Mind In Motion (2026)
In this new interview, we sat down with the American Rock band Glory Days to ask questions about their album, "Mind In Montion".
1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?
Our new EP, Mind in Motion, is the culmination of all of our inspirations and life
experiences in one. We really dove into what makes Glory Days, Glory Days, and were able
to pack it into one EP.
2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?
Mind in Motion is the idea of someone always changing and growing throughout their
life. Through trauma, positive experiences, Love, and loss, the mind is always moving
and growing from these experiences. With that being said, these songs all kind of follow
that same idea of growing and changing into different themes and styles throughout.
3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?
Everyone in the band would be considered the composer! We all put in work to put these
songs together. That would be Vince, James, CJ, and Jared all pulling their weight!
4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?
Personally, I would choose Clocks as the one song to pick; outside of the personal
attachment to this song, it’s unique in its poppy sound with the dark undertones of the
lyrics. Really makes you feel and think about life in a different way.
5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?
I would say there are a few different messages, arguably a different message per song. But
the general message would be that you’re never alone. Everyone struggles through life, but at the end of the day, there are people around to help you through the darkest parts
of your life.
6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?
“Tonight, Tonight, I’ve got my friends and family to tell me that it's gonna be okay”
From our song “Because Friends Are All We Have” as a reminder that you’re never
alone. Even in the darkest of times, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and your
friends and family will be there to help you through it.
7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends,
family, someone you'd love to thank especially?
There are a lot of inspirations that we pull from for this album. Musically i would say
theres a lot of Counterparts, Green Day, State Champs, and Hot Mulligan influences we
drew from overall. All of our immediate family for being such amazing support and for all
the love that was given to us throughout our lives and musical career. As well as all the
friends that come out to shows all the time to enjoy our music and support us as much
as they do. We couldn't do any of this without them.
8. Something to add?
Come out to a show! Were doing a weekend run from August 20th to the 23rd! Check us out
on Facebook or Instagram at glorydays_il for more information! Otherwise, thanks for
checking us out on Spotify!
