Behind The Artworks: Bockreiter - Spirits Of The Swamp (2026)

The cover photo and the other landscape photographs were taken by the band’s vocalist and bass player with an analog view camera in the swampy areas of the High Fens and the surrounding forests. This is where the bodies of the buckriders the album speaks of were discarded, and where the “Spirits of the Swamp” have awakened once again. The photographs were developed in the darkroom before being scanned for the album artwork.
