Behind The Scenes: Coilguns - Everything We Love, We Destroy (Official Video)

Nathan Jucker is Coilguns vocalist Louis Jucker's brother, but first and foremost a brilliant stop-motion artist. We'd been waiting for the right opportunity to work together, and Jessica Vaucher's handmade artwork felt like the perfect starting point to bring her embroidery to life —literally turning it into the red thread running through a short film.

We like to hold on to the optimistic, almost utopian idea that, faced with the destruction modernity seems determined to complete, a little red thread of love might still be enough to stitch the pieces back together. It's naïve, sure, but it helps us face reality without giving up. We hope it leaves people with a little hope and the energy to keep fighting.
