In this new interview, we sat down with the UK Heavy Metal band Chrysalid to ask questions about their album, "Breaking The Chains".

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

We're proud and very glad to release the new single ''The King'' from our new album ''Breaking The Chains''. That's a great kickstart with a very melodic song.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

Ep: The King it's a message about the traitors around you, spreading gossip and backstabbing you but in the end, we all know how they finish: in tears and pain!

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

Emannuel Thorsen (singer)

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

Breaking The Chains

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?

Yes! Never give up! fight for your dreams! if you fail, stand up and try again!

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

The King

The choices you have made

Are showing your despair

And robbed you of your free spirit.

The crowd are baying for your final speech.

Can you hear them crying out.

King of kings our majesty!

Raise your hands! show us the way! Thunder voice your reign never ends!

The evil doom will face the steel today!

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

The inspiration comes from my victories and losses, family, friends, and enemies. I would like to thank my wife Liliane, My daughter Carolina, and my bandmates!
