Behind The Artworks: Citovitz And The Fireflies Of February - For The Hawk (2026)
I did not design this cover. I felt it.
There is a difference. And with this album — more than anything I have ever released — that
difference matters completely.
THE SKY
The first thing I see when I look at this image is a sky that cannot decide what it is. Storm on one
side. Gold is breaking through on the other. Heavy, dark clouds pressing down — and warm amber
light on the left, insisting on itself, refusing to be extinguished.
That is grief. Exactly what grief looks like from the inside.
Not pure darkness. Never pure darkness — because the person who caused this grief was not a
dark person. He was the opposite. He was the warmth. He was the gold. And so the sky above
For The Hawk holds both at once — the storm of losing him and the light of everything he was
— and it refuses to choose between them.
Because I cannot choose between them either.
Not yet. Maybe not ever.
